1st Time Pass Guarantee Courses

Our practical driver training consists of 24 – 48 hours, delivered over a maximum of 3 – 6 months from the start date. The start date will be determined as the date on which the first hour of the  training is delivered and received.
The DVSA practical driving test fee for the 1st attempt is NOT included in this course and is the responsibility of the student.
In the event that the first practical driving test is not successful then MINT2PINK will pay the fee for each subsequent DVSA practical driving test until the driving test has been passed or until the end of the 3 or 6 month duration of the course, whichever comes first.
In addition, MINT2PINK will provide an additional 2-hourly session each week for ongoing driver training during any interim periods between driving tests, without any further charge. These additional hours of training must be attended by the student in order that driving errors occurring during the unsuccessful test can be addressed. Additionally, these lessons ensure standards are maintained and not compromised whilst waiting for a retest date from the DVSA. Failure to attend these lessons could invalidate this course. Any variation to this condition is at the discretion of the individual instructor who delivers your training.
It is recommended that the first practical driving test be attempted as early as is practicable in order that the 1st time
pass guarantee can be utilised as fully as possible. This first attempt at the driving test is usually within the first six weeks (24 hour course) or three months (48 hour course) from the start of the training.
If, at the end of the course, the driving test has not been successfully achieved, responsibility for any further driver training and DVSA practical driving test fees will revert back to the student.

Delivery of this course regarding intensity of timescale should be arranged directly with your MINT2PINK instructor. It is non transferable but may be cancelled subject to the terms and conditions as stated on the MINT2PINK website at the time of entering into this agreement.

MINT2PINK reserves the right to cancel this course at any time subject to a full refund in this instance and without liability for any additional recompense. Nothing in this agreement affects your statutory rights.

Black Friday/xmas deals

All purchases are made subject to our usual terms & conditions.  In addition, the following t&c’s apply to this Black Friday promotion which ends 12/12/19

  1. All bookings are valid for 6 months from booking date unless otherwise arranged with MINT2PINK at the time of booking.
  2. Gift vouchers are allocated to the intended recipient, are non-transferable and non-refundable.  They will be dispatched to the purchaser directly – by 1st class post – no later than 13 December 2019.

Cancellations – lesson time purchased under these offers can be cancelled but are non refundable.

Complimentary vouchers and gift cards
Vouchers and gift cards have no cash value and have to be redeemed against tuition. Voucher and gift cards aren’t transferable once they’ve been redeemed. In the interests of safety and security we are not able to accept payment by cash or cheque. Secure payments to be made online or please ask for bank details to make bank transfer once your lesson or course has been confirmed as available. Mint2pink has no responsibility or liability to you for payments made by any other means. If you pay your instructor directly by any method, you should make sure you get a receipt. mint2pink accepts no responsibility for any payments made directly to instructors.
Price changes
Pre-paid tuition will be honoured for 12 months from the date of payment – irrespective of any price increase that may occur between the date of receipt and when the lessons are taken. Any unused lessons remaining after 12 months have elapsed will be subject to any lesson price increase applied prior to the lessons which shall become payable by you. Refunds will not be given for any time unused after 12 months have elapsed.
Special offers and discounts
mint2pink has a great range of offers and discounts for new and existing learner pupils on lesson prices. We reserve the right to introduce (and to withdraw) special offers from time to time. Introductory offers are only available to new learner pupils. They can’t be used in conjunction with other offers and aren’t transferable.
Cancellation of lessons
If you have not taken any lesson(s) at the time of cancellation you will be entitled to a full refund of any amounts paid directly to mint2pink provided that you give the required notice of:
*48 hours prior to the lesson start time for hourly, two hourly and Trial90 lessons
*6 weeks prior to the start of an intensive course of any duration up to 3 weeks
*3 weeks prior to the start of an intensive course of any duration over 3 weeks up to 8weeks
Refunds
If you have taken lesson(s) at the time of cancellation you will not be eligible for a refund on any lessons taken or those that are booked to be taken before the notice period can be met. If you have taken lesson (s) at the time of cancellation you will be required to gain any refund from the driving instructor directly, as he/she would be in receipt of the complete booking payment Where it is possible to do so, we/your instructor will refund you using the same method you used to pay for your lessons when you made the payment. If for any reason we are unable to do this, we reserve the right to refund you by any other method we deem appropriate. We may request additional information from you to confirm your identity in order to comply with the Money Laundering Regulations 2007; we will also use this information to ensure adherence to our Merchant Operating Instructions for any card collection facilities we may offer at that time. Refunds may take up to 10 working days to reach you or your account. Refund of partial block booking will be made pro rata on any lessons not taken. If you have paid your instructor for the tuition you wish to cancel, your instructor will refund you adhering to the same principles as set out above. If you have paid using a prepaid gift card or voucher, we will not be able to offer any refund after redemption of the card or voucher. You cannot sell or transfer lessons to any other person, which have been purchased in your name.
Fraud prevention
Your lessons are only valid if they are purchased as outlined above. If lessons have been purchased through another source, please contact us immediately on 07715 056 100 In the event that some or all of your lessons were not purchased in accordance with the terms as previously outlined then mint2pink reserve the right to suspend these lessons in your account, with immediate effect until an investigation can be conducted to verify the validity of the payment(s). Should an investigation prove that the lessons are not valid they will not be given and mint2pink will have no liability under these circumstances. Your instructor and/or mint2pink limited are not liable to you for any loss or damage caused where, and to the extent that
*there is no breach of a legal duty owed to you by the relevant person or body;
*such loss or damage is not a reasonably foreseeable result of such a breach;
*any such loss or damage, or increase in the same, results from any breach or omission by you;
*any such loss or damage results from circumstances or matters outside of the reasonable control of the relevant person or body.
Your instructor and/or mint2pink shall not, in any event, be liable for losses relating to any business interests you may have including, without limitation, lost profits, lost earnings, loss of opportunity or business or business interruption. You are reminded that mint2pink are not party to the contract for driving tuition itself, which is between you and your instructor. This does not affect any liability that mint2pink may have for any loss or damage you may incur which is caused directly as a result of any breach (including negligence) by it or them of any legal duty owed by it or them to you. Nothing in these terms and conditions will affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
Insurance
Your instructor will carry the appropriate motor insurance, should you be involved in a collision as a learner driver while in control of driving the instructor’s tuition vehicle.
Short notice tests
During the initial Trial90 assessment lesson you will be evaluated by your instructor. If after the lesson the instructor assesses that you are not ready for the test, the instructor is under no obligation to take you to the test. You will be will advised of the next steps needed for you to become test ready
The DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency)
stipulate that you need to give three clear working days to cancel or re-schedule your test. This means that you may lose your Driving Standards Agency test fee if you fail to give this notice. In these circumstances neither mint2pink or your instructor are liable for the cost of any lost driving test fee
Law applying to terms and conditions
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Complaints procedure
Your contract is between you and your instructor. In the rare event of any problem arising, you should resolve this with your instructor immediately. We recommend no further lessons are taken until the matter is resolved. In the unlikely event that you are unable to reach a satisfactory conclusion, we will be happy to investigate further until the matter is resolved. Please note that we will require evidence of any financial transactions and lesson times before we are able to investigate. Therefore, it is imperative that your Driver Record details (provided to you by your instructor) are kept accurate and up to date. If you have any concerns or complaints about any part of your driving tuition which cannot be resolved with your instructor, please contact mint2pink Customer Service on 0800 955 2990.
Where Customer Service is unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you will be entitled to escalate the matter to our Customer Care department by writing to Customer Care at the address below. The Customer Care team will use reasonable endeavours to respond to your written query within 5 working days. If you still feel dissatisfied after these steps have been completed, your grievance will be referred onwards to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency on 0300 200 1122 who may be able to help you further.
